Forest Certification Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of forest certification processes and play a key role in maintaining the integrity and quality of dual certified group schemes and chain of custody operations across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing internal audits across the company in line with UKWAS standards
- Supporting the delivery of corrective actions and facilitating successful external audits
- Acting as a key point of contact for staff on all matters related to Forest Certification
- Promoting best practices in sustainable forest management
- Supporting wider environmental compliance across diverse forestry projects
- Regular travel to sites across the UK and Ireland
What We’re Looking For:
- A professional, detail-focused individual with a proactive and adaptable mindset
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of UKWAS standards and silviculture
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a varied workload
- Confidence in leading audits and maintaining compliance systems
Desirable:
- HND level qualification or above in Forestry (or a related land-based discipline)
- Experience in forest certification or sustainability-related roles
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters (or working towards chartered status)
- A full, valid UK driving licence (essential due to the nature of site visits)
